The Y.A.R.D.S. stand for “Youth, Advocacy, Research, Demonstration, and Sustainability.”  It is an education center focusing on the science and practices of the beef industry.  Educational opportunities provide a unique learning experience based on its location in the Blue Grass Regional Stockyards Marketplace.  This environment fosters complex thinking, experiential learning, and life skill application.  The space features a 70” touch screen smart monitor, along with an interactive eating cos, window overlooking the stock pens and a historical story wall.  The classroom holds up to 50 individuals theater style or 30 individuals in a traditional classroom setting.
